About

Money talk, minus the noise.

Money Parler is a personal finance and digital media company. We publish clear, practical money education for everyday people — the kind of explanation you’d want from a smart friend who happens to love spreadsheets.

What Money Parler is

“Parler” is French for to talk — and talking honestly about money is the whole idea. Too much personal finance content either talks down to people, drowns them in jargon, or tries to sell them a dream. Money Parler does none of that. We cover the fundamentals — budgeting, credit, debt, saving, and investing basics — in plain language, with real numbers and worked examples, so you can make your next decision with your eyes open.

Everything here is education, not advice tailored to one person’s life. Money is personal; our job is to make the concepts clear enough that your decisions get better, whether you act on them yourself or bring sharper questions to a professional.

Why it exists

Because the basics work, and almost nobody teaches them plainly. A budget you can actually keep beats a perfect one you abandon in February. A credit score stops being scary the moment you understand the five things that build it. An emergency fund turns a crisis into an inconvenience. None of this requires a finance degree — it requires honest information, presented like it matters, because it does.

Our story

Money Parler was founded in 2021 on one mission: teach the money basics plainly. Budgeting, credit, debt, saving, investing — the fundamentals that never go out of date, presented like they matter, because they do.

If you’re new here, start with the guides below — they’re the foundation everything else builds on.

How we work

Three rules we publish by

Plain talk, always

If a ten-year-old couldn’t follow the explanation, we rewrite it. Jargon is a tax on the reader, and we don’t charge it.

Real numbers

Advice without arithmetic is just opinion. Our guides show worked examples with actual dollar amounts you can swap your own into.

No hype, no schemes

We don’t sell get-rich-quick dreams or push products for a commission. Slow, boring, correct beats exciting and wrong.
